Each month we delve into a dynamic sequence designed to unlock the intricacies of more complex yogic postures.
In October: See the world in a whole new way—upside down! This advanced inversion practice will explore Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand), Pinca Mayurasana (Forearm Balance) and the "king of all postures,” Salamba Sirsasana (headstand) in a safe and supportive environment.
Focusing on stacking the torso and engaging the bandhas to find the midline upside down, this practice will offer tools to take your inversions off the wall and onto the floor. Special emphasis will be placed on Sirsasana, teaching beginners how to practice finding their balance on their own, and introducing Sirsasana cycles for those ready to spice up their headstand.
Ideal for those with at least a year of yoga experience who are eager to expand their horizons. Each month Advanced Asana is taught on a rotating schedule by our teacher tribe! Come join Anne for a class in a safe and lighthearted setting.
