You will find the teachers and other students to be friendly and welcoming. It’s helpful to come 10 minutes early for class your first time so we can show you around. We’ll ask you to take off your shoes and put them in our lounge. You can check in with the teacher who will greet you either in the studio or at desk in the hallway. We have mats that you can use, and all the props that you might need for class. There is filtered water in the fridge and glasses above the sink in the kitchen for everyone’s use.

All of our classes are small and teachers will offer adaptations for different levels of yoga experience or desired physicality for all classes that are labeled "All levels." Every quarter or so we offer a 4-week Yoga 101 series - email us if you don't see it on the schedule. Slow & Subtle Yoga, Gentle Yoga and Gentle Flow Yoga are great options on the weekly class schedule for beginners.

Anything comfortable that you can move around in, that isn’t too loose. No fancy yoga clothing required! You can wear socks, but it’s good to take them off once you warm up because you tend to need your feet to grip the mat for some poses.
