Are you ready to level up?
Our Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School is for those wishing to dive deeper into the science of Yoga and develop their personal practice both on and off the mat. All you need is an open heart and a sincere desire to explore the benefits yoga has to offer both in the studio and in our everyday lives.
Whether you aspire to teach or to deepen your personal practice, our program will provide you with an empowering foundation to elevate and ignite your yoga journey.
Our Teacher Training Philosophy
The foundation of our training program is Classical Yoga philosophy, which is rooted in the teachings found in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. In the Sutras, Patanjali outlines the eight limbs of yoga, the eightfold path of spiritual growth and self-discovery.
These limbs are ethical guidelines on how to live a vibrant, meaningful life. Asana (yoga postures) is the most well-known of the limbs but it’s only a part of the story, for this path offers so much more. Each of the eight limbs addresses a different aspect of our multifaceted being, and together they act as a road map to living a yogic lifestyle.
Meet Your Lead Instructor
Our yoga school is led by Yoga Garden’s Senior Teacher, Meadow DeFosche-Christ, eRYT-500/YACEP who will be supported by our highly experienced Yoga Garden PBO faculty, each of whom come from different backgrounds and offer their personal styles and perspectives on the Science of Yoga.
Course Overview
We meet in person for one weekend a month from March to October, with additional self-paced requirements that will be completed online. Homework, practicums, and karma yoga will be required.
