Yoga entered Brittany Partridge's life around 2020 as something fun to do. She watched videos online and followed along, drawing on her background in gymnastics, which made the poses feel natural for her body.
Over time, she developed a deep appreciation for the meaning behind the poses, and her practice became increasingly intentional. It began to foster a profound connection with herself that she had never experienced before.
Brittany was introduced to Kundalini Yoga by a local nonprofit, heart2heart, discovering how yoga can help release grief from the body. This marked a turning point where yoga became more than just a hobby for her.
In 2023, yoga played a crucial role in her recovery from major physical injuries, teaching her to connect her mind with her breath during challenging times. Around the same time, an opportunity for teacher training opened up, and now she is a gradate of the 200hr training at the Yoga Garden, under the guidance of Meadow DeFosche and the Yoga Garden family.
She is thrilled to be leading children's yoga at Yoga Garden! She believes that introducing young people to yoga early on can help reduce the illnesses society faces. Growing up as a big cousin in a large family has made her familiar with this role. Being around children keeps her connected to her wild imagination, something she will always cherish.
